Glendora Cutshall

MARSHALL, N.C. -- Glendora Cutshall, 92, passed away Tuesday at Madison Healthcare.

Mrs. Cutshall was born Dec. 11, 1919, in Madison County where she was an owner and operator of Cutshall's Grocery.

She attended Chapel Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Lance and Bethel Chandley Wallin; her husband: Clarence B. Cutshall; and a brother: Clarence Wallin.

Surviving are her sons: William and his wife, Susan, of Marshall, and Dale Cutshall of Chuckey, Tenn.; a sister: Virginia Shelton of Erwin, Tenn.; four grandchildren: Donna Bass, William Cutshall Jr., Diane Badakhsh, and Kevin Sowers; and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Madison Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Dean Hensley officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Cutshall Town Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
