Died: Nov. 7, 2012

Betty S. Peters, 64, of the Warrensburg Road, Mosheim, passed away Wednesday morning at her home.

Mrs. Peters was a homemaker.

She was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include her husband: Alvin Peters; two daughters: Amanda Banks and husband, Kates, of Midway, and Tracy Gregg and fiancé, Sammy Valentine, of Midway; one son: David Peters and wife, Amber, of Greeneville; four grandchildren: David and Carter Gregg and Addison and Leah Jane Peters; a sister and brother-in-law: Wanda and Haskel Yates of Parrottsville; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Nickie and Brenda Partin of Greeneville and Arlow Partin of Mosheim; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew: Randy Partin.

She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Hazel Partin and was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

The family expressed a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice.

There will be a gathering of friends Saturday at 11 a.m. in Whittenburg Cemetery.

There will be no formal visitation or service.
