Roger Lynn Metcalf Sr.

Died: Nov. 8, 2012

Roger Lynn Metcalf Sr., 50, of South McKee Street, Greeneville, passed away Thursday morning at his home.

Mr. Metcalf was retired.

Survivors include his mother: Charlotte Metcalf of the home; three sons and a daughter-in-law: Roger Lynn Jr. and Tiffany Amber Metcalf, Brandon Lynn Metcalf, and Dennis Lynn Metcalf of Greeneville; one daughter: Miranda Marie Metcalf of Greeneville; a brother and sister-in-law: James and Marie Metcalf of Greeneville; a sister: Angela "Sal" Aloha Metcalf of Greeneville; a granddaughter: Amber Lynn Metcalf of Greeneville; three special nephews: Danny, Travis, and Holden Metcalf of Greeneville; an aunt: Louise Ricker of the home; two uncles: Ray and Mary Metcalf of Greeneville and Kenneth Metcalf of the home; his cousins: Dale and Mary Seaton, Bridgette Metcalf, Ross Metcalf, Jake Metcalf, and Lori Cutshall; his special friends: Stevie Willis, Karen and Rex Smith, Allison Bradshaw, J.D. Wampler, Eugene Hance, and Tammy Morgan; his special Amedisys Hospice nurses: Pam, Pattie, and Freda; and special Takoma nurse and physician's assistant: Mechale and Mike Stone.

He was preceded in death by his father: Henry Bud Metcalf; an uncle: Ralph Metcalf; grandmother: Vergie Lane; granddaughter: Anna Ruth Metcalf; uncles: Eddie Kimery, Charles Landers, and Tommy Tipton; and a cousin: Lesa Ricker.

There will be no formal visitation or service. The family will conduct a graveside service at 3 p.m. Saturday in Mountain View Cemetery in Greeneville.
