"We, her daughters would like to send up a prayer of gratitude that we had such an awesome mom that influenced our lives, but even more so to see how she has touched the lives of others so profoundly.
"We each hope and pray to live up to such a legacy and pass it on to our sons as well.
"It has been said that she had the perfect blend of intellect, common sense and wit and truly knew how to put them to use. Gerry, you are loved and will be missed by all."
An Irish Blessing: "May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand."
There will be no formal visitation or service.
Family and friends will gather at 8 a.m. Saturday at Laughlin Center for Outpatient Care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Laughlin Healthcare Foundation.
