Timothy Pitts

Timothy Pitts, 52, of Britton Avenue, Greeneville, passed away Friday at his home.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Kassie and Sam Lawson; his mother: Shelby Pitts; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Paula and David "Buck" Caraway and Robin Thomas and fiancé, Randy Blazer; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Jeff Pitts and Crystal Kesterson, Paul Pitts Jr. and Tammy Yarbor, and Jason and Kelly Pitts; his nieces and nephews: Kim and Heath Pruitt, Christy and Joseph Trantham, Jeremy Caraway, Heather Caraway, Josh and Shea Pitts, and Kaelan Pitts; seven great-nieces and great-nephews: Ashley Thornburg, Taylor Thornburg, Tyler Trantham, Jordan Pruitt, Addison Pruitt, Tatum Pitts, and Savannah Tweed; and his special friends: Hugh Brown, Patsy Renner, Ben Kite Jr., Terry Dean, Chad Malone, Tracie Renner, Isaac Renner, Rebecca Yarbor and Becky King.

He was preceded in death by his father: Paul Edward Pitts Sr.; a sister: Tammy Renee Pitts; and a cousin: Jimmy Sauceman.

The family expressed thanks to the staff of Smoky Mountain Home Health Hospice.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-6 p.m. today at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown.

In accordance with Mr. Pitts request, his body has been cremated.
