Charles W. Uhe

Charles W. Uhe, 86, of Old Kentucky Road West, Greeneville, passed away Thursday at his home.

Mr. Uhe retired as warehouse manager for Illinois Farmers Co-Op.

He was a member of a Church of God.

Mr. Uhe was a U.S. Army retired master sergeant. He served during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years: Frankie Uhe; his sisters: Dorothy, Carrie, Jeannie, Mary, and Betty, all of Pinkneyville, Ill.; a special adopted son and daughter-in-law: Ray and Pricilla Shelton of Greeneville; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Paul and Nellie Voiles of Mosheim, Harold and Louise Shelton of Greeneville, and Joyce Swatzell of Mosheim; and several nieces and nephews

He was the son of the late Charles Issac and Jane Bird Uhe and was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Uhe.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Bobby Morrison will officiate.

Interment will be in GreeneLawn Memory Garden. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.

Family and friends will be pallbearers.
