Bobby Eules Vest, 75, of Raymond Road, Greeneville, passed away Sunday at Signature HealthCARE of Greeneville.
He was a member of Gospel Tabernacle.
Mr. Vest retired from Greeneville Shipbuilders.
He loved the Lord, his wife, children, grandkids, great-grandchildren, and all of his remaining family. He was the most loving person you could ask for.
Survivors include his wife: Kathleen Dockery Vest; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Steve and Maxine Vest, Robert and Teresa Vest of Chuckey, and Donald Vest; a daughter and son-in-law: Tina and Tim Morgan; two sisters, his twin: Betty Soloman, and Billie Godwin and her husband, Bill; his brother: John Vest; four grandchildren; a stepdaughter: Mary Katherine Jennings; three stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two brothers-in-law: Buford Dockery and William Dockery; a sister-in-law: Bertie Ingle; and his special friends: Danny Chandler, and the staff of Signature HealthCARE.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Fannie and Vernie Vest; and four sisters: Louise Melton, Joann Burke, and twins, Virginia and Ellen Vest.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. today at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, Afton Chapel
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Afton Chapel with interment in GraceLand Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Buster Shelton and the Rev. Danny Chandler will officiate.
