Alan Burch, 56, of the Houston Valley community, died Tuesday at his home.

Survivors include his special friends: Darrell and Tammy Powers, Joshua, Ryan, and Caitlin Powers, Macey Dixon, and Linda Chandler; a niece: Reva Spears; and a cousin: Gary Ball.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Burch, and his daughter, Jessica Burch.

The family will conduct a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Houston Memorial Church on Kelley Gap Road.

The Rev. Leonard Cutshall will officiate.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

His body will be cremated. Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Sevice to defer the funeral expenses.
