ALBERTVILLE, Ala. -- Willie Jo Rice, age 91, of Marshall Manor Nursing Home died Thursday.

Survivors include a son: Wayne (Joan) Rice of Albertville; three daughters: Judy (Larry) Bryant of Sardis, Debra (Bill) Jones of Greeneville, Tenn., and Cynthia Jordan of Orange Beach; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister: Gladys Shirey of Missouri; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Virgil and Ila Shellhorse; her husband: Keith Rice; a daughter: Amy Rice; brothers; and sisters.

The family expressed a special thanks to Marshall Manor Nursing Home and staff.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Macedonia Baptist Church. Bro. Lynn Sharpton and Bro. Wayne Tarvin will officiate.

The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jon Rice, Michael Rice, Brandon Frazier, Marshall Glenn, Larry Shellhorse, and Truman Duckett.
