Margaret Ada Lee Norton Crowe, 82, of Greeneville, passed away Tuesday morning at Wellmont-Holston Valley Regional Medical Center in Kingsport.
She retired from Greene Valley Developmental Center.
Mrs. Crowe attended Peoples Tabernacle Church as long as her health permitted.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Gene and Debbie Norton of Chuckey; three daughters and sons-in-law: Brenda and Jimmy Hensley, Charlotte and Mickey Jones, and Barbara and David Scott; a stepson and his wife: Jack and Joann Crowe of Kentucky; her grandchildren: Sandra Caudell, Susan Waddell, Missy Jones, Mike Jones, Cassie Anderson, Rachel Morelock, Tanner Neas, Jonah Scott, Allison Crowe, and Celeste Crowe; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law: Fred and Doris Roberts of Greeneville; two sisters: Wanda Cox of Mosheim and Marjorie Davis of Greeneville; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece: Lisa and Danny Lowery.
She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Lettie Fillers Roberts and was preceded in death by her first husband: Jonah Norton; her second husband: Edward Crowe; and a special brother: Ralph Roberts.
The family expressed a special thanks to her extended family at Signature HealthCARE of Greeneville "for the care you showed our mother."
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-7 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 7 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Billy Gragg and the Rev. Paul Ragan will officiate.
It is requested that family and friends who would like to join the family for the committal service meet at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday to go in procession to GreeneLawn Memory Gardens for an 11 a.m. committal service.
