Jettie Dunbar, 88, of Greeneville, passed away Friday at her home.
She retired from The Austin Company.
She was a member of the Little House of Prayer.
Survivors include her husband: Talmie Dunbar; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Sheila and Joseph Broyles, Karen Buttry, and Debbie and Kenneth Guinn; grandchildren and spouses: Sonya and Tony Kirk, Shawn and Penny Kelly, Ricky and Valerie Garber, Amanda and Aaron Marsh, Casandra and Bobby Wolfe, David and Charity Wilkerson, Kelly Hoke, Andrew and Michelle Broyles, Carla and Shawn Peterson, Gini and Ricky Maraman, and Audrey Broyles; 28 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Hazel Corby and Betty Wallen; brother and sister-in-law: Huvel and Linda Shelton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: William and Brenda Dunbar; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Simon and Ethel Shelton; a son: Dale Dunbar; three brothers; and five sisters.
The family expressed special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and Dr. Phillip Thwing.
The family will receive friends at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, Downtown Chapel, from 5-7 p.m. today and from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Refuge Church.
The Rev. Michael Crum will officiate.
Interment will be in Union Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tony Kirk, Shawn Kelly, Ricky Garber, David Wilkerson, Mike Crum, Rick Maraman, and Dakota Hagaman.
