Died: Dec. 29, 2012

Richard H. Pepin, 74, of Greeneville, passed away Saturday at his home.

He was a disabled veteran.

He was a U.S. Marine and a career Seabee. He loved the military with all his being. He served three tours in Vietnam and one tour in Korea.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years: Janet Pepin: two sons and a daughter-in-law: Mike and Sherry Pepin of Kingsport and Richard Mark Pepin and Shelley of California; a daughter and son-in-law: Kelly and Bruce Bratcher of Greeneville; six grandchildren; sisters: Edith Fagundes of California and Carolyn Pepin; brother: Johnny Pepin; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Witgen.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Local friends may call on the family at their convenience.
