James Stanley Love

James Stanley Love, 86, of Cocke
County Road, Greeneville, passed away Friday at Life Care Center of Greeneville.
Mr. Love retired from Weavexx and loved farming.
He was a
member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Mr. Love was a U.S. Navy veteran
of World War II and was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years: Anna Mae Love, whom he married on Nov. 28,
1950; his children and spouses: Wayne Love, Phyllis and Larry Davidson, Arthur and Janice Love,
Cathy and Robert Bausch, and David and Cyndi Love; grandchildren and spouses: Crystal and Frankie
Basham, Leann and Noah Bowen, Christy and Rodney Luttrell, Mikey Malone, Preston, Tyler, and Cory
Bausch, and Garron and Tanner Love; sister-in-law: Mona Love; five nieces and nephews;
great-grandchildren: Haylee and Alyssa Bowen, Ethan Basham, and Caden, Courtney and Austin Luttrell;
and special friends: Harold and Rufus Weller and Ivan Parks.
He was
the son of the late Francis and Maggie Love and was preceded in death by his brothers: Charles and
Robert Love; sisters: Louise Love and Idema Love; and a special nephew: Jimmy Love.
The family extends a special thanks to the staffs of Amedisys Hospice, the VA Hospital,
and Life Care Center of Greeneville.
The family will receive friends
from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at
8 p.m. in the chapel. Pastor Larry Moore will officiate.
A military
graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. James Cemetery. The Greene County Honor
Guard and the U.S. Navy Military Honors Team will conduct the service.
Pallbearers will be Robert Bausch, Cory Bausch, Larry Davidson, Nathan Love, Rusty
Love, and Tim Penley.
