Died: Dec. 31, 2012

Arlene Large, 51, of McMillan Road, Midway, passed away Monday at the Johnson City Medical Center.

She was the retired owner/operator of wedding shops.

She attended Christian Fellowship Church.

Survivors include a son: Seth Smith of Midway; daughter: Rachel Large of Midway; sister: Tammy Johnson of Midway; mother and father: Frances and Arland Johnson of Midway; grandmother: Linnie Reaves of Midway; granddaughter: Meiah Dean of Midway; grandsons: Domyniq Large and Caidyn Fortner of Midway; niece: Terra Reynolds of Midway; nephew: Todd Reynolds of Midway; close special friends: John Robert Large and Craig Smith; and aunts and uncles: Jack and Shirley Wampler, Patsy and Jack Story, Russell and Patsy Johnson, and Sharon and Tony Cobble.

She was preceded in death by a son, Terrance Ray Dean.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hartman's Chapel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jim Fain and the Rev. Sharon Cobble will officiate.
