Henry "Chuck" Rader Jr., 46, of Greeneville, passed away Monday at Takoma Regional Hospital.
He was a well known deejay for many years. Chuck had too many good friends to mention individually. He never met a stranger.
He was a member of Tate's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son: Bailey Rader; two sisters: Traci Rader and Alisa Miller, both of Greeneville; a brother and sister-in-law: Josh and Kristi Rader of Greeneville; his grandmothers: Flora Blue, with whom he made his home, Willie Kate Barner and Thelma Jordan; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Carol "Bug" Rader and Henry Rader Sr.; grandfathers: James Barner and Jay Blue; and grandmother: Lucille McCullum.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown, with the funeral service following at 7 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Rochelle Maxwell and Tracy Blue, minister, will officiate.
Friends and family will meet at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Sunday and will travel in procession to Warrensburg Houston Chapel Cemetery for a 2 p.m. committal service.
Pallbearers will be Victor Blue, Allen Barner, Darby Dye, Robert Arnett, Corneal Manuel, J.B. Blue, Rodney Merriweather, and Calvin Barner.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Tate Chapel and the Pruitt Hill Men's Prayer Group, Juan LuVene, Michael Hamilton, Felix Manuel, Jeff Wilson, Jason Ripley, Dale Arnett, Tim Yokely, Richard Merriweather, and Phillip Wright.
