Died: Jan. 9, 2013

William Howard Walton, age 69, of Greeneville, died Wednesday at Lakebridge Healthcare Center in Johnson City.

He was a painter and former employee of The Austin Company and Parker Hannifin.

He was a member of the Lake Runners Club and loved fishing and hunting.

Survivors include a son: Dennis H. Walton of Gray; brother: James Walton of the home; three uncles: J.D. Walton, Orville Walton, and Joe Walton; two aunts: Wynell Hensley and Ruth Nye; and several cousins and friends, including a special cousin and his wife: Junior and Patricia Story.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Dennis and Reba Walton; and one brother: Jackie Walton.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today and Sunday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Doughty-Stevens Chapel. The Rev. Steve Rutherford will officiate. Interment will follow in Doty's Chapel Cemetery.
