Kathleen Gass Farris, 88, of Baileyton, passed away Friday at Signature HealthCARE of Greeneville.
She was a Baptist by faith.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed greatly.
Mrs. Farris' hobby was fishing, which she loved.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: James and Linda Gass and Timmy and Annie Gass; two daughters and a son-in-law: Wanda and Roy Davis and Carolyn Davis; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Viola Garber and Edna Holt; a brother: Raymond Smith; and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents: Granville and Rachel Smith; two husbands: Willard Gass and Marvin Farris; a sister: Sallie Nelson; a grandson: Ricky Lee Davis; and a granddaughter: Angie Davis
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown.
The funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday in the downtown chapel with interment in Zion Cemetery at Baileyton. The Rev. Nick Gunter will officiate.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
