Charles V. Jenkins

Died: Jan. 16, 2013

Charles V. Jenkins, 74, of Lorraine Street, Greeneville, passed away early Wednesday morning at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.

He was a retired auto mechanic.

Mr. Jenkins was a member of Old Tabernacle Church of God.

Survivors include his wife: Viola Jones Jenkins; two stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law: Jim and Myra Whitson of Greeneville and Ray and Jeannie Whitson of Midway; grandchildren: Weston, Derrick and Lindsey Whitson, Jama Boles, Heather Kesterson, and Amy Brown; four great-grandchildren; and special friends: Byron Hansel, George Seay, Don Jenkins, and Randy Brooks.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lola Jenkins, and a stepson, Larry Whitson.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Wayne Riddle officiating.
