Died: Jan. 18, 2013

Vivian S. Greenlee, 96, of Greeneville, passed away Friday at Takoma Regional Hospital.

She was a prolific reader, made preserves from her own orchard, and enjoyed gardening and quilting.

She worked hard and was very active until the day she passed away.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Everett Cutshaw; her daughter: Maxine R. Elkins; three sisters; a brother; a granddaughter: Tanya P. Elkins; a son-in-law: Paul Elkins; and her parents: Jacob Clyde and Mary Smith.

Survivors include two grandchildren: Barney and Terri Dunn of Mosheim and Tashia Shantae Elkins of Greeneville; two great-grandchildren: Joshua B. and Amanda Dunn and Whitney S. Patterson; a great-great-grandson: Gavin K. Dunn; a special granddaughter: Mary "Sissy" and Anthony Ball; a special great-granddaughter: Trinity Ball; four sisters: Gwendolyn "Tootsie" Mills, Jerry Hagon, Phyllis Moles, and Nellie Knight; and special friends: Kim Neas, "Mutt and Betty," Betty Smith, and William Patterson.

Family and friends will meet at Mosheim Central Cemetery at 2:45 p.m. today for a 3 p.m. graveside service. The Rev. Jim Bunch will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any charity which promotes reading.
