Roy Parmer Crawford

Died: Jan. 18, 2013

Roy Parmer Crawford, 81, of the Rheatown community, passed away Friday at Life Care Center of Greeneville.

Survivors include a brother: Ray Connalee and Judy Crawford; three sisters: Louise Fannon, Joyce Arrington, and Deanna and Hobert "Butch" Mercer; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Alonzo Crawford and Mossie Jane Taylor Crawford; stepmother: Pearl Maude Jackson Crawford; two brothers: Homer Crawford and Harley Crawford; a stepbrother: Virgil Jackson; four sisters: Ann Parker, Ola Mae Moore, Edna Crawford, and Judy Faye Crawford; and a stepsister: Joanne Bishop.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown, with the funeral service following at 8 p.m. The Rev. Jonathan Jones officiated.

Family and friends are asked to meet at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home to go in precession to GreeneLawn Memory Gardens for a 2 p.m. committal service.

Pallbearers will be Connalee Crawford, Darrell Taylor, Kenny Thornburg, Junior Gilland, Mike Holt, and Butch Mercer.
