Easter Mae Waddell

Died: Jan. 20, 2013

Easter Mae Crum Waddell, 86, of Life Care Center of Greeneville, formerly of the Cedar Creek community, went to be with her heavenly Father Sunday at the center.

Mrs. Waddell was a homemaker and had been an employee of the former George C. Moore Co.

She was a member of the former Broyles Chapel Church of God, now Cedar Creek Church of God.

She was a very spiritual woman who attended church at long as her health permitted. She was an "Angel of God."

She was preceded in death by her husband: Luke Calvin Waddell; a daughter: Teresa Diane Waddell Castleberry; parents: Lonnie and Maudie Davis Crum; five brothers: Herbert, Delbert, Gilbert, Hobert, and Albert Crum; and two sisters: Mary Belle Crum Waddell and Naomi Crum Cobble.

Survivors include three grandchildren: Madonna Gerai Castleberry, Monica Renee Castleberry, and Melissa Diane Castleberry; two great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; a sister-in-law: Beulah Crum of Orlando, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with interment in Cedar Creek Cemetery. The Rev. Brice Casey will officiate.

Her nephews will be pallbearers.
