LOUDON -- Jacqueline "Jackie" Campbell Westbrook, age 86, of Knoxville and formerly of Greeneville, passed away Friday at Kindred Health Care Center in Loudon.

As a young woman, she attended the University of Tennessee and Lincoln Memorial University, and traveled as a flight attendant with American Airlines.

Having been raised in Middlesboro, Ky., she supported the war effort by working as a teacher there after graduating high school in 1943.

She was a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother, as well as a loving caregiver and great friend to many others.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Warren W. and Grace D. Campbell of Greeneville, her brother: Warren W. Campbell of Kentucky, and sister: Barbara "Bobbie" Campbell Noel of Greeneville.

She is survived by her four children, her grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews: David W. Westbrook of Dallas, Texas, Robin Westbrook (John) Minnucci and daughter, Taylor Leigh Minnucci, of Perkasie, Pa., Dana Westbrook (Geoffrey) Turner and daughter, Caroline Campbell Turner, of Gates Mills, Ohio, Lee Anne Westbrook (Mark) Harper; son: Steven Nathaniel "Nathan" Duke, and stepdaughter: Sarah Anna Harper of Loudon; and son: Tyler Chase Duke of Knoxville.

Private services are being planned for Mrs. Westbrook in Greeneville, where she will be laid to rest next to her parents in Oak Grove Cemetery.

McGill-Karnes Funeral Home, Loudon, is in charge of arrangements.
