Marjorie Whaley Bible

Died: Feb. 7, 2013

MORRISTOWN -- Marjorie "Margie" Whaley Bible, 83, passed away Thursday at home with her loving family by her side.

Mrs. Bible was a member of Warrensburg Baptist Church.

She retired from the Senior Citizens Center and enjoyed owning her own fabric store located in Warrensburg along with managing Bible Grocery in Bybee and the Plaza Motel in Morristown.

She enjoyed sewing, crafting and spending time with her family.

When meeting people, she never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years: Dennis Bible; parents; Barnard and Martha Whaley; brothers: Earl Whaley and wife, Joyce, Carl Whaley, Hugh Whaley, and R.L. Whaley; daughter: Gloria Diane Collins; son-in-law: Walt Madsen; granddaughter: Angie Clark; and great-granddaughter: Gracie McCravey.

Marjorie is survived by her children: Greg (Yvette) Chambers, Dianne Madsen, and Sharon (Laughton) Seals; son-in-law: Foye Collins; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother: Gene (Pearl) Whaley; sisters-in-law: Anna Lee Whaley and Faye Whaley; and special friends: Gene and Janie Solomon and Melissa Helton.

The family will receive friends from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home, with the funeral service following at 3 p.m. The Rev. Gary Marshall will officiate.

Interment will be in Bible Family Cemetery in Greene County.
