Bonnie Mae Ricker, age 74, of Craft Lane, passed away Wednesday morning at Takoma Regional Hospital.
She retired from Magnavox after 35 years.
She attended Lord's Tabernacle as long as her health permitted.
Mrs. Ricker enjoyed meals with Modern Woodmen, traveling with Greene Coach Tours and cooking.
She was a loving mother and wonderful grandmother who supported her family's special events and extracurricular activities.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses: Gary and Erika Ricker, Terry Ricker, Randy and Drema Ricker, and Vanessa and Jeff Gallihar, all of Greeneville; 11 grandchildren and their spouses: Chad Ricker, Shai and Jason Hankins, Terry Lynn and Stephanie Ricker, Justin Ricker, Lee and Jessica Ricker, Mindi Ricker, Joshua Ricker, Jessica and Jenna Gallihar, Heath and Cole Ricker, Austin Smith, and Cameron Hawk; three great-grandchildren: Keasley and Keanan Hankins and Cameron Ricker; sister: Nannie Schwickerath of Arizona; brother: the Rev. Tommy Norton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Linda and Hal Lane, Ruby Ricker, Barbara Ricker, and Josephine Ricker; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Eugene Rice; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Franklin Ricker; her parents: Ike and Essie Griffin; and her brothers and sisters: Thelma Duke Rice, Lillian Shipley, James Norton, Annie Correll, Henry Norton, Major Norton, Bunny Griffin, and Harold Griffin.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Buster Shelton and the Rev. Lynn Mercer will officiate.
Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Saturday to go in procession to River Hill Cemetery for an 11 a.m. committal service.
Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.
