Gary Trusty, 58, of Lick Hollow Road, died Wednesday evening at his home.
He was disabled.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, and going to flea markets.
Survivors include his wife: Sophia Bernice Trusty; four sisters and a brother-in-law: Mary Shipley, Linda and Bobby Britton, Wanda Arnold, and Joyce Johnson; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Robert and Rita Trusty, and Jim Trusty; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Lisa and Tommy Powell; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Clota and Art Cecil; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and special cousins: Danny Johnson, Donnie Johnson, Rickey Bowman, Ronnie Bowman, and Roger Bowman.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Nora Trusty; and three brothers-in-law: Cecil Shipley, J. R. Arnold, and Jimmy Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Dwayne Casteel and the Rev. Jim Fillers will officiate.
Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in Hunt's Chapel Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Thomas Powell, Jerry Taylor, Chuck Johnson, Bob Trusty, Matt Willett, and Richard Bowman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin, Joe, Jesse, Josh, Jeff, Chris, Becky, Christy, Nora Ann, Laura, August, Cynthia, and Kim.
