John Wesley Keller Jr.

Died: March 4, 2013

John Wesley "J.W." Keller Jr., 88, of Greeneville, passed away Monday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

He was a retired welder.

Mr. Keller was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

He faithfully attended church as long as his health permitted.

Survivors include his wife: Viola Shelton Keller; a daughter and son-in-law: Gail and Warner Metcalf; a son and daughter-in-law: Wesley and Pam Keller; grandchildren and their spouses: Donovan and Debbie Metcalf and Christie and Casey Jones; a sister: Glenna Cutshall; and several nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late Myrtle and John W. Keller Sr. and was preceded in death by brothers: Paul Keller, Oral Keller, and Bobbie Keller; sister: Lucille Gregg; and mother-in-law and father-in-law: Boney and Manilla Shelton.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Ray Shelton and the Rev. Hubert Metcalf will officiate.

Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to GreeneLawn Memory Gardens for an 11 a.m. committal service.

Nephews and friends will be pallbearers.
