Carole Ann Zurn, 73, of Craft Lane, Greeneville, passed away Monday, March 11, at her home.
Mrs. Zurn was an office manager in the healthcare field.
She loved bowling, knitting, and golf. She had served as chairperson of a cystic fibrosis chapter in Colorado.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Valerie and David Haubrich of Greeneville; a stepson: Michael Zurn of Franklin, N.Y.; grandchildren: Carole Anne Nelen and husband, Adam, of Grove City, Pa., Philip Simons and wife, Bettie, of Fayetteville, N.C., and Shaun Zurn of California; great-granddaughters: Alyssa Simons and Victoria Simons; a sister and brother-in-law: Cheryl and Fred Kloosterman of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Philip and Wilma Hood and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Robert Zurn Sr.; a son: Robert Zurn Jr.; two sisters, Myra Albrecht and Beverly Shoaf; and one brother: Paul Hadden.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 7 p.m. in the chapel. Ken Auer will be the speaker.
The family extends a special thanks to Mrs. Zurn's best friend, Cari Nimro, and to the staff of Caris Health Care for the care which was given.
