Died: April 3, 2013

A. Ross Lamb, 74, of Hilltop Drive, Greeneville, passed away Wednesday at his home.

Ross was a longtime delivery driver for Kern's Bread. He later was a contractor for the telephone company.

He was a lifelong and very active member of the First Church of God.

Ross was a devoted husband, father and friend.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years: Betty Lamb; two daughters and sons-in-law: Sherry and Richie Henry and Connie and Roger Carr; grandchildren: Brad Cutshaw and wife, Lesley, and Alan Hatfield and wife, Laura; great-grandchildren: J.T. Kimm and John Kimm; a sister and brother-in-law: Mary and Jerry Lane; one brother: Billy Lamb; and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Maggie and Bud Gibson, Shelby Lyngen, and Charlie and Gerelene Setser.

He was the son of the late Ray and Almeta Lamb and was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Kirk; and his mother-in-law, Bonnie Setser.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. today at First Church of God with the funeral service following at 7 p.m. at the church. Pastor H. Gerald Rudd will officiate.

Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home to go in procession to GreeneLawn Memory Gardens for an 11 a.m. committal service.

Pallbearers will be Brad Cutshaw, Brian Harrison, Alan Hatfield, Roger Carr, Jerry Knight and Roger Kirk.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Shepherd and the members of The Enliveners Group and The Builders Class.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Church of God Building Fund, 1505 W. Main St., Greeneville, TN 37743.
