Died: April 5, 2013

Charles Minnis Perry, 74, of Sugarbowl Road in the Union Temple community, passed away unexpectedly Friday at his home.

He retired from Aus-Tex Manufacturing Co.

Mr. Perry was a member of Mount. Bethel Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee and a dedicated Sunday School teacher for many years.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law: Raymond and Denise Perry of Chuckey; his daughter: Marie Haun of Jonesborough; four grandchildren and their spouses: Dale and Rebekah Perry, Cody and Courtney Haun, Sara Perry, and Callie Perry; two sisters: Goldie Adkins of Huntington, W.Va., and Nellie Huggens of Mount Vernon, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late Charley D. and Nanny Perry of Wayne, W.Va.; and was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years: Marlene; a brother: Garnet Dale Perry of Fort Gay, W.Va.; and a sister: Opal Ross of East Lynn, W.Va.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. today at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with interment in GraceLand Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Dennis Daughtery and the Rev. Alfred Cutshall will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Starr, Tony Roe, Randy Roberts, Jerry Darnell, Jimmy Cutshall, and Jimmy Harrison.

Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Mount Bethel FWB Church, Dr. Joseph Austin, and Dr. Stephen Flohr.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Bethel FWB Church Building Fund, c/o Linda Ricker, 403 Mount Bethel Road, Greeneville, TN 37745.
