Died: April 5, 2013

NEWPORT -- Harold Richard Huff, age 74, of Parrottsville, passed away Friday.

He coached Parrottsville Elementary School basketball for more than 20 years and refereed many games.

He is survived by his wife: Betty Jo Huff of Parrottsville; daughters: Tammy (Ricky) Reed of Parrottsville and Terri (David) Tilson of Morristown; brother Fred Huff Jr. of Parrottsville; sister Ruby Diebels of Texas; grandchildren: Matthew and Brandi Reed of Parrottsville and Jacob and Ashley Reed of Alabama; great-grandchild: Ashton Reed of Alabama; and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dorothy Huff; and a sister, Agnes Massey.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today in Forest Hill Cemetery with Dr. Charlie Boggan officiating.

The family received friends Sunday evening at Manes Funeral Home in Newport.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parrottsville Elementary School, Parrottsville, TN 37843.
