Died: April 3, 2013

Doris Jean Jordan Weems, 47, of Asheville, N.C., formerly of Greeneville, passed away Wednesday at her home

Survivors include her daughter: Darlicia Jordan; two sons: Alfonzo "Devon" Jordan and Robert Arnez Weems Jr.; three grandchildren: Ieisha Jordan, Donquez Huff, and Cailee Broyles; several nieces and nephews; a special aunt: Alfreida McPhail; her sisters and brothers: Angela Jordan of Johnson City, Brandi Chew and Deborah Gillespie, both of Greeneville, Velma Oliva of Cunningham, Ala., Ruby Jean Hale of Morristown, David Blanton of Greeneville, Steve Gillespie of New Jersey, Tyrone Crum of Greeneville, Jared Blanton of Knoxville, and Brian Shipes of Johnson City; a special friend and companion: Glenn Bennett; and her godparents: Mrs. Jessie and Minister William Dennis of Kingsport.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Flora Ann Jordan; and a brother: Zee Blanton Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown.

A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Wesley Heights Cemetery. Sister Patsy Swaggerty, Pastor Valorie Rogers, and the Rev. James Snapp will officiate.
