Died: April 7, 2013

Emma Pearl Reaves, 86, of Greeneville, passed away Sunday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of Greene Ridge Free Will Baptist Church.

She was a devoted homemaker.

Survivors include a sister: Leona Goldene Landers; a sister-in-law: Allie Brown Reaves; a niece: Rita Landers McGhee; two nephews: Eric Landers and Daniel Reaves; three great-nieces: Brandy McGee Willis, Deanna Reaves Wilson and Casey Reaves; three great-nephews: Jeremy McGee, Dustin Reaves, and Daniel W. Reaves; three great-great-nieces; four great-great-nephews; and a good friend: Betty Solomon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, H.W. and Lucy Gray Reaves; a brother, Richard Reaves; a niece, Cathy Reaves Sarmento; and a nephew, Michael Reaves.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown, with the funeral service following at 7 p.m. in the chapel. Pastor Paul Garritt will officiate.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eric Landers, Daniel Reaves, Justin Reaves, Daniel W. Reaves, Jerry McGee, and Wayne Brown.
