Grace Bible McNew

Died: April 7, 2013

Grace Bible McNew, age 97, of Conway, S.C., formerly of Mosheim, passed away Sunday morning at Reflections Assisted Living in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Born in the Bibles Chapel community of Midway, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Dora Rader Bible.

She was the widow of Wallace McNew, who died in 1974.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Ed and Gail McNew of Conway; her grandchildren: Scott McNew and wife, Beth, of Myrtle Beach, and Tracey Hill and husband, Jay, of Whiteville; great-grandchildren: Delaney McNew, Declan McNew, Mara Love, Chase Love, and Madelyn Love; one brother and sister-in-law: Ray Jirrell and Deloris Bible of Morristown; one sister and brother-in-law: Patsy and Curtis McLamb of Dunn, N.C.; one sister-in-law: Nancy Bible of Midway; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Leroy Bible and Gene Harold Bible; and two sisters: Irene Jackson and Geneva Kirk Crosby.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Bibles Chapel Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 o'clock. The Rev. Donnie Bible will officiate.

Family and friends are asked to meet at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens at 10:30 a.m. Friday for the committal service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bibles Chapel Baptist Church, 1280 Bibles Chapel Road, Midway, TN 37809.

Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
