Thelma Pauline McDevitt

Died: April 13, 2013

WELLINGTON, Ohio -- Thelma Pauline McDevitt, 87, of Wellington, went to be with the Lord Saturday.

A daughter of the late Leonard Harrison and Eliza (Lamb) Cutshall, she was born on Dec. 26, 1925, in Greeneville, Tenn.

Pauline was a great mother who loved her children. She also loved the Lord with all her heart.

Her other hobbies included gardening, making quilts, canning foods, having and going to garage sales, watching her baby calves running through the fields and spending time with the Amish.

A true entrepreneur, Pauline reupholstered furniture, caned chairs and owned an antique business.

She was the beloved mother of Elaine (Bob) Davis, Don (Trish) McDevitt, Glen McDevitt, and Marilyn (Paul) McDevitt-Wright; grandmother of 13; great-grandmother of 22, and loving sister of L.H. Cutshall.

Pauline was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Norman, in 2006; and siblings, Edna Cutshall, Ruby Cagel, Claudia Scott, Bonnie Cutshall, Perry Cutshall, Tell Cutshall and Helen White.

The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. today at LaGrange Church of God in LaGrange with burial in Huntington Cemetery. The Rev. Danny Wright officiated.

The family received friends Monday evening at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home in Wellington.
