Carson Burnette Horton Jr.

Died: May 1, 2013

Carson Burnette Horton Jr., 60, of College Hills Drive, Greeneville, passed away Wednesday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Horton was a DT tech.

He attended East Side Baptist Church.

"He was deeply loved by his family, especially his four children. He will live forever in our hearts. We will count the days until we can soar in the clouds to meet him again in heaven. We love you, Daddy! We love you, Papaw!"

Survivors include: his wife of 33 years: Teresa Horton; his children: Marcia Dawn and husband, Jerry Lee Davis, Christopher Zane Horton, Charity Lashea Wilkerson, and Terry Lynn Horton; seven grandchildren: Landon Stanley, Brayden Davis, Jerry Austin Davis, Jacob Rash, Israel Rash, Emmaline Davis, and Patricia Kesterson; his mother: Alma Ruth Horton; a sister: Debra Myers; and a special nephew: Bradley Myers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carson Burnette Horton Sr.

The family expressed a special thank you to all who have given their love, prayers, and support.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Edward Horton will officiate.
