Died: May 18, 2013

Rose Marie Metcalf, 87, of Greeneville, passed away Saturday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Metcalf was a member of the Foster Grandparent Program.

She retired as a secretary from Philips Consumer Electronics.

Mrs. Metcalf was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Greeneville. She was a church pianist for more than 40 years.

Survivors include a son: James Benny Metcalf and wife, Susan; a daughter: Pamela Rose Bere and husband, Mike; grandchildren: Rachel Pareja and husband, Will, Leah Bere, Lydia Campbell and husband, Tim, Karen White and husband, Mark, and Rob Metcalf; great-grandchildren: Micah White, Emma White, Matthew White, Haddon Pareja, Gabrielle Pareja, and Michael Campbell; two brothers: Dan Boles and Robert Boles; four sisters: Patty House, Wanda Wilkerson and husband, Bobby, Phyllis Gallihar and husband, Ralph, and Brenda Tolliver; and two sisters-in law: Marma Lee Boles and Ellen Boles.

She was preceded in death by her husband: James Herbert Metcalf; her parents: James Lawrence Boles and Charlsie Edith Boles. four brothers: Wofford Boles, Billy Boles, Charlie Boles, and James Lawrence Boles Jr.; five sisters: Susan Arwood, Betty Luttrell, Naomi Hartman, Mary Edith Boles, and Carolyn Foshie; and a great-grandchild: Nicolas Augusto Pareja.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, Afton Chapel.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 4 p.m. with interment in GraceLand Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Doyle Pruett will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Rob Metcalf, Will Pareja, Gary Franklin, Rodney Ward, Bobby Boles, and Mark White.
