MORRISTOWN -- Mason Tommy Morgan Jr., 69, went to be with the Lord suddenly Monday at his home in Bulls Gap.

He was a farmer and also employed at Enka. He retired from American Greetings.

He was an avid fisherman and bee keeper.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years: Mary Fisher Morgan; daughters: Tammy and Ginger Morgan; grandchildren: Candy Spillman, Sandy Moore and Brandy Moore; great-grandchildren: Morgan Spillman, Aubrinna Moore and Dakota Moore; sister: Linda Sue Yokley of Knoxville; brothers: Ronald (Barbara) Morgan of Kingsport and Glen (Kim) Morgan of Greeneville; sister-in-law: Elaine Morgan of Gray; a special cousin: Terry Gilland of Knoxville; several aunts, nieces, and nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Edna Mae and Mason Morgan Sr.; a sister: Wilma (Jack) Ricker; and brothers: Kenneth Gene Morgan and Ottis Lee (Peggy) Morgan.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home, Morristown.

The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Charlie Brewer and the Rev. Richard Long officiating.

A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
