Died: June 12, 2013

Teresa Louise Schleich, age 63, of Walkers Ford Road, Greeneville, died Wednesday at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Vicky and Tom Cole.

Ms. Schleich was a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa., where she was a member of Phi Mu sorority.

Following graduation from college, Teresa was employed in the fashion and toy industries. She devoted much of her life to non-profit organizations helping those in need.

She attended Notre Dame Catholic Church in Greeneville.

She is survived by her sisters: Victoria S. Cole (Thomas) of Greeneville, Laura S. Irwin (Stuart) of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Martha Winslow of Lock Haven, Pa.; her brothers: John D. Schleich (Teresa) of Springfield, N.H., and Paul J. Schleich (Eugenia) of Berwick, Pa.; nieces and nephews: Matthew, Georgia, Eric, Victor, Mary Elizabeth and Benjamin; and great-nieces and great-nephews: Nathan, Annalise, Charlotte, Ava, Mary Scarlett and Hadley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Mary Louise Schleich of Willamsport, Pa., and her grandparents: Jacob and Anna Zitteroff Schleich and Frances and Teresa McMahon Boland.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, July 20, at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church with the Rev. Jim Harvey officiating.

Interment will be held at a later date in Cincinnati, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Hope Emergency Program, P.O. Box 214, Fayetteville, OH 45118.

The family expressed a special thank you to her special caregiver, Whitney, of Caris Hospice.

Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
