Robert "R.D." Venerable

Died: June 28, 2013

Robert Dennis "R.D." Venerable, 56, of Greeneville, passed away at noon Friday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

He was the owner of Nolichuckey Concrete Pump Service.

Mr. Venerable was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and Greeneville Lodge No. 3, F&AM.

Survivors include his fiancée: Kay Gott of Kingsport; one son: Nathan Robert Venerable, and his fiancée, Megan Barnett; one daughter: Samantha Venerable; one grandson: Nolan Robert Venerable; his father Robert J. Venerable and wife, Trixie; and one brother and sister-in-law: Danny and Elaine Venerable, all of Greeneville; one sister and brother-in-law: Annette and Kevin Burger of Walland: three nieces: Danielle Venerable, Kelsey Burger, and Katlin Burger; aunts and uncles: Sonny and Jeanette Southerland, Ralph and Bonnie Venerable, and Linda and Swenton Crider; and his former wife, the mother of his children: Pam Morrell Venerable.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Genevieve Painter Venerable.

The family will receive friends from noon-3 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at Jeffers Funeral Chapel in Afton.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at Jeffers Funeral Chapel in Afton.

The Rev. Dennis Shumate will officiate.
