Lottie Mae Blue Arnett

Lottie Mae Blue Arnett, 80, died Saturday at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport.

She retired from the Greeneville City School System.

She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a member of the Hattie Mae Bryant Society.

Survivors include two sons: Bobby M. Blue, and Jerome and the Rev. Robin Arnett, all of Greeneville; one daughter and son-in-law: Cheryl and Ronnie Ryans of Johnson City; three grandchildren: Rachael Arnett, Yvonne Hamilton, and Carlos Arnett; five great-grandchildren: Donavan Barner, Devyon Barner, Karington Hamilton, Ava Arnett, and Amari Arnett; special cousin and nephews: Bea Arnett, Flora Blue, Kasper Scruggs, and Hurbert Lee Scruggs; and an abundance of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Alma Blue; her husband, L.T. Arnett; and a sister, Sarah Louise Blue

The family received friends Monday at the Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service Downtown.

The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. today in the funeral home chapel.

Interment followed in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers were Tim Ward, Craig Fillers, Hugh Lee Scrugs, Robert Arnett, Leonard Carey, Aaron Rogers, and Walter Manuel.

Honorary pallbearers were Marcellous Rogers Jr., Willie Anderson, Eddie Joe Anderson, Dale Arnett, and Dr. Kenneth Susong.
