Died: Aug. 3, 2013

Bobby Daryl Church, 50, of Chuckey, passed away Saturday at his home.

Mr. Church was a carpenter.

Survivors include two daughters: Brittany and Daniel Matz of Caledonia, Ill., and her mother: Diane Simpkins of Caledonia, and Chelsea Church of Chuckey and her mother: Angela Habberstad of Greeneville; brothers and sisters in-law: Joe Church and Joyce Darnell of Greeneville, Shirley Fletcher of Limestone, Johnnie and Patty Church and Wayne Church of Chuckey, Keith Church of Horse Creek, and Stevie Church and Lisa Hicks of Chuckey; a special great nephew: Xavier Fletcher; numerous nieces and their children; and a grandchild: Hailey Matz.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Rosalee and Quinton Church; and three brothers: Dean Church, Blaine Church, and Ray Church.

The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. today at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service at Afton.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Afton Chapel. The Rev. Kevin Shelton and the Rev. Kenneth Bowens will officiate.

Donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
