Died: Aug. 5, 2013

Naomi E. Morelock, 92, of Parton Loop, passed away Monday evening at Signature HealthCARE of Greeneville.

She was a loving wife and mother.

Mrs. Morelock retired from Hurd Lock Manufacturing.

Survivors include her grandson: Scott Morelock; daughter-in-law: Kathryn Morelock; and sister: Lorena Collins, all of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews, including two special nieces and their husbands: Wanda and Hugh Shipley and Coleen and Fred Daniels; and a special nephew and his wife: Donnie and Diane Brooks.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Carl Morelock; one son: Eddie Morelock; parents: S.A. and Minnie Renner Collins; five sisters: Annie Davis, Vernie Waddell, Chassie Collins, Josephine Brooks, and Irene Crum; and six brothers: Harley, Lloyd, Oscar, Alvin, Perry, and Roscoe Collins.

Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. The Rev. Willis Bowers will officiate. There will be no formal visitation.

The family extends a special thanks to all the staff of Signature HealthCARE.

Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
