Ruby Estella Ricker Wilds

Died: Aug. 21, 2013

Ruby Estella Ricker Wilds, 91, of Greeneville, passed away Wednesday at her home.

Born Jan. 10 1922, she was a daughter of the late Lucy (Harrison) and Thomas Hodge Ricker, and the widow of Clura J. Wilds.

Mrs. Wilds was of the Baptist faith.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and a friend to everyone. She loved her flowers and liked to work in them. She will be sadly missed by all.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: C.J. and Carol Wilds of Texas; two daughters and a son-in-law Wanda Wills of Greeneville and Esther Sue and Ernest Broyles of Chuckey; three daughters-in-law: Jan Wilds of Newport and Shirley and Barbara Wilds of Greeneville; two sisters: June Swatzell and Patty Ricker of Greeneville; three sisters-in-law: Phyliss Gosnell of South Carolina, and Nuffie Arrington and Elsie Wilds of Greeneville; several grandchildren, including a special granddaughter: Sunday Sue Broyles of the home; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter: Dorothy Belle Wills; three sons: Marlin David Wilds, T.Z. Wilds, and Ronnie Jay Wilds; a granddaughter Bridget Wilds; and a grandson Ernie Eugene Broyles Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown.

At Mrs. Wilds request, her body was cremated.
