Travis Lin Trent

Died: Sept. 17, 2013

MORRISTOWN -- Travis Lin Trent, 28, of Russellville, formerly of Dandridge, passed away Tuesday as a result of an automobile accident.

In his youth, he professed faith in Jesus Christ and attended French Broad Baptist Church.

He was an employee of B&B Warehouse.

Survivors include his parents: N.J. and Sureda Faye Trent of Newport; his fiancée: Stacy Laughlin, and his precious daughter, the light of his life: Taliah Noamni Trent; a brother: Tony E. Bunch of Morristown; two beloved sisters: Casey Trent of Newport and Lisa (Willie) Cline of Bean Station; his special nieces: Madison Trent and Karleigh Cline; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents: Sonnie Collins, Etter Trent, and America (Ment) and Loyd Sexton; an uncle: Terry Trent; and a lifetime friend: Brandon Lindsey.

Travis was an outgoing person and an avid Tennessee sports fan. He always loved helping others and will continue to help many others through organ donations. Travis will always live on in our hearts and souls.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Mayes Family Services, downtown Morristown.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Mayes Downtown Chapel with the Rev. Miles Dalton and the Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Bent Creek Cemetery.

The family expressed a special thanks to the paramedics and Brittany Green and Kim Sexton for the rescue and care of Taliah at the accident scene.
