Thomas Yungen

Died: Oct. 6, 2013

Thomas Yungen, 55, of Midway, passed away Sunday at his home.

Mr. Yungen formerly worked at Weyerhauser in Illinois. Since moving to Tennessee, he worked at Minco and Parker Hannifin.

He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and brother, and a stubborn Chicago Bears fan. He had so many loving friends.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years: Claudette Roy Yungen; two daughters and sons-in-law: Tiffany and James Fry, and Charlotte and David Tuck; his grandchildren: Dexter Fry and Jacob Fry; five brothers and two sisters, including a special sister and brother-in-law: Mary and Daniel Elliott; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a son of the late Lyle and Grace Yungen.

Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown, with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. The Rev. Jim Harvey will officiate.

Interment will be in St. Joseph's Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Tuck, James Fry, Billy Wren, Larry Mullins, Kevin Senff, and Roland Roy.
