Died: Oct. 13, 2013

Frances M. Bryant, 94, of Susong Lane, Greeneville, passed away Sunday evening at Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge.

Mrs. Bryant was a homemaker and retired school teacher.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the Presbyterian Women.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Robert Joseph "Bob" and Kathy Bryant of Knoxville; four grandchildren: Adam Bryant of Denver, Colo., Lee Bryant of Jackson Hole, Wyo., Thomas M. Bryant IV and spouse, Joanna, of Kershaw, S.C., and Chandler Dabit and spouse, Joe, of Charleston, S.C.; four great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Dabit, Amirah Dabit, Ava Bryant, and Isabella Bryant; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Robert S. and Bessie Mobley McGarity and was preceded in death by her husband: T.M. "Tom" Bryant Jr.; two sons: Thomas Bryant III and Russell M. Bryant; two brothers: R.S. McGarity Jr. and Nathan S. McGarity; and a daughter-in-law: Beth Bryant.

The family will receive friends from 5:30-7 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 7 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Dr. Dan Donaldson will officiate.

A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

It is requested that family and friends, who would like to join the family to go in procession to the committal service, meet at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Bob Bryant, Adam Bryant, Thomas Bryant, Joe Dabit, Sammy Fox, Melvin Jones, and John Craft.

Felty Massengill and Mike Sauls will be honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Presbyterian Women of First Presbyterian Church, 110 N. Main St., Greeneville, TN 37743.
