Died: Oct. 18, 2013

FALL BRANCH -- Marjorie Pauline Cox, 83, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord Friday at Life Care Center Gray following a brief illness.

She was a native and life-long resident of Washington County.

Marjorie was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years: Carl Elmer Cox; and two brothers: Elmer Luster and Joe Luster.

She is survived by her son: Carl Allen Cox and wife, Martha, of Fall Branch; three grandchildren: Brent Cox and wife, Jeri, Casey Cox, and Buffy Casey and husband, Robert; four great-grandchildren: Kaleb and Codie Cox, Cheyenne Cox, and Cole Casey; two sisters: Cindi Earhart and husband, Tom, of Fort Myers, Fla., and Nancy Morley and husband, Kay, of Limestone; three brothers: Tommy Luster and wife, Nancy, of Jonesborough, Gary Luster of Kingsport, and Kenny Luster and wife, Jeanette, of Jonesborough; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes with the Rev. Victor Wallace officiating. The family received friends at the funeral home prior to the service

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. today in Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
