Died: Jan. 16, 2014

Larry Eugene Harrison, age 60, of Limestone, died Thursday evening at the Johnson City Medical Center.

He was a graduate of Washington College Academy and Tusculum College.

Larry retired from United American Insurance Company.

He was a lifetime member of Limestone United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents: C.L. "Bud" Harrison and Nell McCray Harrison; aunts and uncles: Charles McCray, Kyle and Bonnie Harrison, Harold and Barbara Harrison, Ross and Christine Deakins, Barbara Sue Harrison Culberson, Carl and Ann Squibb, and Freddy and Lucille Squibb; and cousins: Mike Harrison and DeWayne Culberson.

Survivors include one uncle: Lynard Culberson; cousins: Gary Harrison, David Harrison, Debra Harrison Wagner, Donna Harrison Raphael, Steve Deakins, Beth Deakins Delaney, Richard Squibb, Gail Squibb Morris, Ross Squibb, Patricia Culberson, and Teresa Stone; and special family friends: Hilda Pruitt and Randy Adams.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Doughty-Stevens Chapel. The Rev. Steve Spell will officiate.

Family and friends are asked to meet in Urbana Cemetery at 2 p.m. Wednesday for a committal service.

Pallbearers will be Randy Adams, E.C. Remine, David Carroll, Jonathan Hartman, Gene Hensley, and Roger Ellis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to "Mary Meals" - Limestone UM Church, c/o Eleanor Clark-Hale, 755 Opie Arnold Road, Limestone, TN 37681. This service provides a lunch meal weekly to shut-ins and is funded by donations.
