Reva Myers Shea

Died: Jan. 17, 2014

Reva Myers Shea, 72, passed away Friday in Norfolk, Va.

Born Jan. 19, 1941, in Greeneville, she was the daughter of the late William Carter Myers and Addie Mae Johnson Myers.

An independent woman, Reva enjoyed interacting with people, which was instrumental in her tremendous success as a retail jewelry sales associate.

Reva enjoyed caring for her potted flowers and plants, and her beloved miniature pinscher, Charlie.

Survivors include her son: Jimmy Cutshaw of Lynchburg, Va.; her daughter: Jackie Boyce and her husband, Gary, of Boykins, Va.; a brother: Henard Myers and his wife, Sue Ella, of Greeneville; a sister: Azalee Grindstaff and her husband, Jimmy, of Cedar Bluff, Va.; her grandchildren: Rachel, Christopher and Abigail Boyce of Boykins, and Jacob Beck of Richmond, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers: Jay Weems, Roy, Joe and Junior Myers; and two sisters: Madeline Myers and Juanita Davis.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
