Died: Jan. 18, 2104

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Maria Turski Clevio, 66, of Harrison Township, formerly of Greeneville, Tenn., died Saturday.

She graduated from Greeneville High School in 1965 and from the University of Tennessee in 1969.

Maria was retired from the Charter Township of Clinton and was a member of the Macomb County Quilt Guild.

She was the beloved wife of Robert Clevio of Harrison Township; cherished mother of Anthony (Kate) Clevio of Northville, Mich., and Angela (Daniel) Rahn of Colorado Springs, Colo., the precious and loving "Nana" of Jack Rahn and Callan Clevio; the dearest sister of Janina (Jim) Garner of Orlando, Fla., Margaret (David) Lawless of Chuckey, Tenn., and Steve (Debbie) Turski of Farragut, Tenn.; and a dear daughter-in-law of Nina Clevio and sister-in-law of Pauline Ruszkowski of Clinton Township.

She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents: Stefan Turski and Flora Turski Bassett; her father-in-law: Julius Clevio; and her stepfather: Paul Bassett.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Church, 24415 Crocker at Harper. The body will lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to the service.

Donations are welcome to the U of M Comprehensive Cancer Center, Pancreatic Cancer Program, or to St. Louis Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Inurnment Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, MI.
